Beaches
URBANI
With its crescent shape, it is among the most famous beaches in Sirolo.
It is easily accessible from the village which develops right above it. Also closed by a high cliff, it opens towards the sea with its characteristic pier on the left and the famous natural cave from which it takes its name.
SPIAGGIA DEI GABBIANI
Adjacent to the Due Sorelle beach, there is another beach characterized by the presence of boulders: once upon a time there was the slave cave, closed by a landslide at the beginning of the century. Many testify to the beauty of this cave which could be accessed by boat directly from the sea. The name derives from the use that would have made this Sabba, admiral of the Saracens, who seems to have used it as a sorting deposit for the slaves that he managed to collect after the incursions on the two sides of the Adriatic pending the redemptions for their release or their sale.
PORTONOVO
Just before Mezzavalle (going north) we find the most beautiful and famous bay of the Conero Riviera. The green scrub of the mountain is a counterpoint to the white stones of the beach. The free sections alternate with 2 well-equipped areas, full of fish restaurants with a terrace overlooking the sea and a splendid panorama.
MEZZAVALLE
First long stretch of white beach of the Conero Riviera, characterized to the north by a natural rock formation called "Il Trave". The effort required to reach this free beach is already rewarded along the descent by an amazing panoramic view. There are showers, toilets and a typical restaurant on the beach.
